If you spend a lot of time sitting or sedentary because of your job, I don't think that's something to worry about too much. What really becomes important are like just frequent small bouts of movement. Just get up and move around a bit. There was a recent study that looked at this interaction between how much sedentary time you have versus how much activity time. And if you're getting the kind of activity that we talked about earlier, 30 to 60 minutes a day, I think you're going to offset most of any sort of problematic sedentary time.
