Training Intensity Distribution

Each individual athlete responds best to certain distributions of their training intensity. The 80 20 rule, popularized by mat fitzgerald, myb from another mother, is not a bad one to follow. For most runners, you probably are only gettingo to 80 % easy running and 20 % hard running. If you're a fairly competitive runner, you're doing two, maybe three, harder workouts a week. Once you're doing three hard workouts a week, you're definitely in that very advanced category ofRunner.
