The Myth of a Brand Campaign
There tends to be this binary thinking depending on who you listen to. The way that most people think about a brand campaign is quite simply an intense marketing effort, usually supported by a large media spend. Do they work? Sometimes absolutely. Sometimes terribly. There's no law in marketing that says you must run a brand campaign. So it's a lever. Sometimes you pull it and it works great; sometimes it's a big turd.
