The Brain Dump

The idea was to embed a brain dump, which is offiusy retrievable practice, into the end of year exam. The first thing that students had to do when they sat down before their exam - and it wasn't marked - was just put everything on to the paper. And because we then imbedded that into the assessment, at the end of term, they got to practice everything that they had learnt through the a l t session. So there were lots of practical elements to that, and it's very much part of this strategy.
