In the U.S., 250 million of our citizens are overweight or obese, which is beyond epidemic. Obesity in and of itself is increasing the rate of inflammation. Fat cells were never made to contain that much stored energy so they're sending out a false distress signal by being infected with C-reactive protein (CRP) This is why we see things like high levels of inflammatory bowel disease [IBD], where people can't digest their own food because it's full of CRP.
