The D-D-R-E effect states that we often decide what to do based on what we have just finished doing. You can use utilize the same effect with habits by stacking them together. For example, when I have a morning coffee, I meditate for 60 seconds. Or when I have more than coffee, I pick up book and read two pages minimum. And it'll end up reading like 20. So you're applying these influential principles that can build on top of those those habits that add to it and the extra layers.
