The Importance of Fairness in E-Commerce
E-commerce was growing steadily before the pandemic, like 15% year on year. But then as it took hold, particularly in the West, we saw that there's this famous stat that we saw 10 years worth of e-commerce growth in the space of three months. We have to prepare for this accelerated growth in e-commerce and how it affects their day-to-day work,. How can behavioral science help there? Just as many studies, I think you can apply to e-commerce as pricing. Certainly, asking consumers to do even trivial bits of effort would be problematic. There's an element of this comparative relativeness to what we think is a fair price to pay for
