How Many Repates Should You Be Doing?

"You are not running fast. You're practicing to run fast," he says. "It doesn't matter how fast in seconds you run, it's all about getting up and moving your body through space as efficient and time as possible" The number of repates is a good starting point for someone who has never done strides before but can do them with some practice. For more experienced runners, try doing eight or 10 times 20 seconds per stride. But don't really see going much higher than 8 or 10 for most people unless you're at the highest level.
