I think sometimes progress in my field gets presented as an alternative to a healthy lifestyle. I can't rule out the possibility that rapamycin or maybe something in the future could offset some of the negative consequences of a sedentary lifestyle. But we don't have any evidence to support that. And so I wouldn't recommend that people hold out hope for a magic pill that's going to allow you to live a poor lifestyle and get all the benefits of ahealthy lifestyle.
