The Power of Deep Squatting

Hip dysplasia is a very shallow hip socket and the hip will dislocate like this. If you can get past the risk of hip dysplasia as a youngster, that shallow hip socket allows you to deep squat with the knees together. The polar opposite of a shallow hip socket is femoral acetabular impingement which comes with a deep hip socket so that the femoral neck collides with the hip socket. That highest incidence of that is in the Celtic nations, Normandy, France, Scotland, Ireland; it's not favorable once they get weight past 90s.
