I think it's fascinating that you become essentially pre-diabetic on just one night of bad sleep. I was sitting in my brother's infrared sauna, shout out to Clearlight, Clearlight saunas. And I was shocked to see that my blood sugar actually, there was a pretty significant spike from that. The body has this really interesting hormonal response where basically under times of stress,. like a sauna or kind of chronic low grade, not good stress, will make your glucose go up.
