The Technical Component of Weightlifting
Weightlifting is interesting because of that narrow bandwidth. You need to lift very heavy weight, but the technique required for that heavy weight requires heavy weight. So yeah, I mean, I see that one as really being constrained in this way. And then on the other end, you've got something like bodybuilding, uh, where there's actually a pretty big range of intensities and adaptations are so slow. But powerlifting is probably nestled between those two, because you do have a technical component.
