The Bushman is the only ancestral group we know of that can't pass an oral glucose tolerance test. They seasonally eat something called a mongo nut, which has a high amount of linalaic acid in it. When you take them out of that environment, if they're no longer eating these mongo nut seasonally, then this diabetic effect of the nuts goes away for what seems to be the nuts in my opinion.

They take a deep dive into the epidemic of seed oil consumption.
