The Emotional Reaction
The more often we can see this conditioned relationship over and over again, it helps us weaken our attachment. We've all had the experience of thinking of some past event or person on it's stirring something up in us. What's even quite more remarkable is the same process can happen about some anticipated future event that has not happened. The thought arose, and i could immediately feel a sort of aversion and anger and annoyance and irritation arise.
