There's probly a total of like 600 reported cases of caps in th literature. Nobody knows exactly what the right thing to do is, but i think there is consensus that therrepute capern anti qoaculation is a corner stone here and should probably be instituted sooner rather than later. And we just had a post on hepin resistance, or pseudo resistance. So following a p t t strategy, or you checkin an anti ten a level. This can be problematic because these patients may have artificially prolonged p t t levels due to the lupus anti coagulant. The next steps are pretty controversial, and itw'll be very difficult to ever get sound evidence
