Endurance Versus Cardiovascular Limited Athletes

Pulmonary limited athletes are more of the, like a little bit lankier harder to build muscle. They can generally do 80 or 90% of their one rep max is for forever. The cardiac limited athlete can only do five reps at their one or close to their one rep maximum and then their toast for the rest of the day. So that type of stimuli is going to engage a ton of different mechanisms because it's just this new response. And if you're an endurance train athlete, you're going to see a ton of gains compared to someone who hasn't been in the weight room for 10 years.
