There are these weird demonstrations that they presented as if they were like rigorous scientific evidence which was just like no thanks. The various trade organizations that promote protein intake very explicitly compared them to tobacco companies trying to muddy the research waters with misinformation. There was also a urologist on who's spent a pretty large amount of time like really gleefully talking about nocturnal erections while you're sleeping and they did this like experiment thing with with three people it didn't really make sense.
