A Brief History of Napoleon Bonaparte's Army

The army of italy had been totally neglected. Bonaparte inherited in march 17 96 for his very first field command. It was a man designed to break the spirit of a general. But instead, bonaparte looked around and saidthere there's nothing here i can't work with. He started reorganizing and redisciplining his men immediately arranging the army to suit the theories he had been dreaming up and jotting down his whole life. And that's exactly what he did on this maiden campaign.
