When we dissociate, I know that I've talked a lot about understanding the triggers and being like, oh, I'm feeling myself good overwhelmed. And we kind of feel that buildup. Unfortunately, if we're completely disconnected, which for a lot of us is just the use, right? We don't get into our bodies. We aren't aware of what's happening. We can sometimes just white knuckle through things and maybe even just feel kind of numbed out. So incredibly common.
