I think there's not much good evidence at all to say that an isolated rise of ApoB or LDL in someone that is insulin sensitive carries any increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Any doctor, nurse practitioner, PA clinician that looks at your lipids but doesn't get and fasting insulin is missing the context? And I will say that strongly over and over. If any physician looks at your LDL and tells you it's too high, without looking at your insulin sensitivity, they are missing the boat. That alone will be the single greatest prognosticator. So anyway, just because you're losing weight doesn't mean that you're getting healthier. You must understand the root cause of these illnesses
