Do You Need to Train High Velocity Force Production?

There is a snatch and a clean and jerk or highly technical movements. Do I want to waste weeks of my program, teaching you to variant lists when I can probably still develop those skills in other ways? It's some calculus that needs to be worked out between the patient in your scenario or the client in my situation. The question here is who needs to actually train this high velocity force production power? Does everybody need to be doing this? Is it just for athletes involved in sports that require power production or what?
