The Warning to Beware in Matthew
This warning to beware is used six times in the Gospel of Matthew. Each time, listen to this, it is for some kind of a spiritual leader. In chapter 16, it's used three times for the leaven that was code for the teaching of the Pharisees. So my point is this warning right here in seven is a part of a much larger theme in Matthew and scripture as a whole. The Lord said to me, the prophets are prophesying lies in my name," he says.
