In her clinical work, she met with teenagers who were misdiagnosed as depression and even psychotic feature because they have this hallucination. It sounds to me after evaluations, more along the line of sleep disorder, something like narcolepsy. So I had hallucinations falling asleep and waking up for years. They're called hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations,. That point where you're kind of in between sleep and wakefulness.
