LZ Granderson: I've spent a lot of years working with salespeople and leaders that need to learn how to just have conversations with people. He says the common denominator there is that there's a hidden agenda. LZ: Women know that guys aren't just extra nice for no reason. There's a quid pro quo here. And so if I approach somebody with curiosity and interest and true intrigue, and they're a jerk to me, I may find out quickly there's not much to like about them. If you remove the hidden agenda, there's nothing to reject.
