How Do You Embed Mental Toughness in Your Training?

I've talked to a lot of pro runners and it feels like within the last five years, almost every pro runner is now working with a sports psychologist. It's also funny, like every pro runner now is lifting heavy weights. I love bringing on subject matter experts who are working with high level athletes on all other things in their training that help them achieve such high levels of performance. If anybody listening to this wants to maybe glimpse their potential if they want to really try to be a high level runner, I think it's really important to think about the mental side of running too.
