The Different Kinds of Learners

The principles of learning don't care how old you are, and they don't care what sex you are. What about if I'm a visual learner or I'm a fast twitch athlete? Does it work the same for everybody? There's an article that I just read yesterday by Anders Erickson. All of the people that are learning are learning with the same principles. So what do you think players and coaches are so resistant? Is it just tradition? Is it because they don't believe it works? Wouldn't you rather be hitting volleyball instead of standing on a box?
