Emotional intelligence is a four-piece puzzle. If you don't have one piece if you're missing one of them your emotional development may be underdeveloped. People with EQ often test higher on most job indicators and are better at managing internal conflict. It also really influences some other things like your physical health and your mental health so if you're unable to manage your emotions you're probably not managing your stress either.
