Over-couplings are automatic associations, the things that we reflexively associate with something. In my world, we call them unconscious anchors. I now say that we're talking about the same thing. That's where things like performative allyship and saying things like, I don't see color reflexively. All that gets birthed from those somatic places in the bones that are bracing against individual because of an unconscious bias or over coupling.
