The Difference Between Maximum Security and Medium Security
Experts say that there's virtually no difference between maximum security and medium security. But the difference is how much time an offender can move around outside of their cell. Bernardo might not spend as much time in a cell alone, he will be out and possibly associating with other inmates. The victims families don't want to see him let out or transferred even out of maximum security prison.
