The Importance of Interactivity in Games
Games are a tool to generate a specific kind of like experience or emotional residence for players. I really love the capacity of games to be able to drive home conflicting experiences. It's very clear that slavery and freedom are arrayed in a way in the game where one is the short term choice and one is the long term choice. But there's no necessary reason that we can't make games that have broken components that are intentionally broken.
