Starbucks Is a Coffee Cult
When Starbucks first started to become popular, I would get the frappuccino thing with no coffee because I didn't like caffeine and it was expensive then. The idea of paying more than three dollars for something that you can make at home for 50 cents changed my life. Even though Starbucks is like in gas stations and whatnot, it still has this very elevated energy to it. So even though caffeine is a live your life, Starbucks is about so much more than coffee. It's an identity, a community, a culture and that's why we decided to cover it on the show.
