Colonel Sanders' Replacement: Norm McDonald

Three months after Daryl made his debut as the Colonel, he was replaced by fellow SNL alum, Norm McDonald. KFC put out a statement insisting that Daryl was not fired and that the reason for the change was that "Colonel Sanders was a very enigmatic personality" We reached out to Daryl a couple of times and he declined to talk to us. But he's made his feelings about the experience clear.
