How to Navigate Out of Old Abusive Behavior

Trying to change or control anyone is not very healthy anyway. I decided that if I have a problem with them that's my problem not theirs and that is how I navigate out of old abusive behavior. Sometimes we're triggered sometimes we're triggered and we say things that hurt people sometimes we want to changed or control them like I was saying. Whenever you do something like that with anyone else you erode the relationship. Every time you are critical or harsh or judgmental or put someone down or belittle them, make them afraid or make them feel like they can't do anything right.
