Finding Joy in Giving Is Awesome

This is a real puzzle to me, but we haven't been able to detect as much of a positive relationship between volunteering and happiness. If anyone out there has an idea of why that is, i'd love to fire this out. Human evolution has left us with a lot of problematic features, but one of the really tfeatures that we've got in is that we seem to be capable of finding very genuine joy in helping others. So i would argue that a finding joy in giving is awesome. And again, you know, we have this wonderful evolutionary heritage of finding joy in giving that i think provides beautiful opportunity to deal with some of the really tough problems that we're facing....
