Facebook's Acquisition of Instagram
Kevin Systrom: Instagram was the first acquisition that Facebook had done, not just for the people. He says he wasn't even using it at the time but got involved after coming back from maternity leave. The company moved its team down to Menlo Park; they weren't totally excited about their new home. It's a very different company with a different user mentality, and this, we really need to understand it, said Systrom.
