The Importance of Reading Out Loud
Teachers can hear how students are comprehending out loud as they're reading. That's such a window into what's happening in terms of comprehension in their brain. We spend at least a third of every lesson reading connected text in pairs to each other out loud. And it's that reading out loud and being vulnerable, I think that draws us together in community.
