As a child, i just kind of dipped out and did my own thing. And just became fiercely independent. I didn't look for that expression with my mother or to have that attunement. When our basic needs aren't met, when we walk outside and we feel, you know, at risk, we do become destabilized. We struggle then to hold the space that we're talking about for even the children around us. So it's very com and it does look very different, like jenna is pointing out.
