i think that oftentimes people have a nejerk reaction that like, well, correlation isn't causation. And you now, i think they're asking the wrong question there. The question is not, does x cause y? The question is, when does X cause y? Under what circumstances? Yes, you didn't mean circumstances, but also people. Any time we get an effect, to vary those conditions and see wel when is it strong, when is it weak or when is it positive,. When is it negative? That means the effect is complicated and we need understand it better.
