How Much Protein Do We Need to Maximize Muscle Protein Synthesis?
In humans, it's about two to three grams of leucine in a meal will maximize muscle protein synthesis. For most people, you know, three grams is going to do it. The one caveat I'll say is if you're somebody who's like a complete vegan, there are lower lusine levels that can be used as part of the diet.
