When we suppress ourselves from expressing our internal state and our intended action, this can result in some type of maladaptive mechanisms. And that may really affect our mental health and our relationships. So when i'm talking about signal flow, it doesn't only mean that it's happy and positive. It means that we are staying open to the information that's being exchanged. Sometimes that information is very uncomfortable, and maybe they are critiquing us in some way. But if we can stay open and broad in our awareness to just receiving in and seeing how that might resonate with something within us, then we can integrate it and then feed something back them. That's what i would call signal flow
