In 2018, you left government after six years and came by the chance of the University of London. You then became the director of the Allen Turing Institute. This is a national academy from Data Science and AI. And as if that wasn't enough, in 2020, you became president of the Royal Society. Are you happier working institutions like the Royal Society, the Turing Institute, that sit outside government rather than working from within it? this stage of my life, yes.
