Cant dabbled in the idea that they might be rational beings on other planets. The categorical imperative act only on those maxims or principles which can be willed to be universal laws of nature for all rational beings, not just humans. What is a good will is not quite the same as intention. Good will is the subject as the internal thesubject as the personal legislator of morality.
