Is There a Safe Level of Alcohol for Alzheimer's?

Moderate drinking is not protected from dementia. Minimal drinking, which is defined as seven or less drinks a week, even showed some signs of brain shrinkage with age. Non drinkers had less brain shrinkage over time than people even had four drinks a week. There's probably no safe level of alcohol for your brain. Alcohol impairs memory. But an alcoholic drink can be a stress reducing drink. It can be part of how you relax and will sound time be friends.
