The Australian Institute of Sport, Louise Berg, the International Olympic Committee all categorized beet juice as a supplement. This is placed alongside caffeine, creatine, beta alanine, sodium bicarbonate and others. But again, the question remains, why would beet juice improve our aerobic capabilities? And I wanted to talk about this mostly to eliminate the other positive effects that the lesser known positive effects of inorganic nitrates.
