The Impact of Cloud Emissions on Etsy
Carrick: One of the big concerns was not having visibility into the energy consumption for compute and storage. And so we were concerned about, you know, that being obfuscated in the clouds. We're really proud to partner with Google on that because it allowed us to have a much bigger impact than just Etsy. It's another example of the partnership that we saw both with ThoughtWorks and Google on something that we cared really a lot about.
