The Importance of Generosity
I think we're trying to split hairs when we say I am being generous out of altruism or do I expect a quid pro quo. Generosity is good if you just do it out of some pure emotion but it is bad when it is instrumental and you're thinking Age Karmayake investment here. But the proper way to think about it is that it is just normatively a good thing and it will always bring good.
