Is There a Warm and Fussy Elements in Ecommerce?

There's some interesting in an were falling a lot of the bigger e commerce players, amazon included. It feels like there's kind ofth warm and fuzzy element of it, which i haven't studied enough to have a firm opinion on. Is it also possible that it just facilitates more sales? In other words, when somebody's driving, if they can order whatever the thing is without taking their hands off the wheel, that would just be good business. I'm not exactly sure if the warm and fuzzys are the point.
