The Effect of Sulphuropane on Depression and Anxiety
Brain inflammation and reactive auction species are hall marks of nerve degenerae diseases such as alsheimers, parkinsons and huntington's disease. The inflammation and high oxidative stress play a role in causing abnormal protein aggregates in the brain. Sulphuropane has been shown to improve spatial working memory and short term memory in mice injected with amaloid beta aggregates. And it's been shown to decrease tremors and normalize dopamine levels in mice given a chemical that induces parkinson's disease. It seems very plausible that sulphuripane may have a similar effect on depression and anxiety in people.
