Numerator: A New Way to Collect Data on Consumers

With the advent of smartphones, we could amplify and gamify the experience for consumers to report their purchase activity. So everywhere they shopped, no matter what they bought, simply take a picture of the receipt and our gamified apps would earn a reward. And that became the basis of what is now today numerator. We started collecting advertising on every media channel, 22 different types of media from TV and radio and print to social and digital. Every ad placed and understanding what brands are advertising,. how much via what channels, every promotion in every store, what type of promotion, what products were involved, every price and then every commerce site scraping every single e-commerce site consistently.
