The Importance of Creating a Category
When they were like looking for someone to lead marketing, they were very explicit with me, including a couple of people on the board that said, you want to create a category. We think like the way we're going to grow this business long term, because it's a crowded space, we want to build a uniquely different point of view and teach the market something differently. The best category designers help people master that thing. And then that's where the word of mouth magic just, it just accelerates.
